Only endpoints that answer a valid x402 402 qualify, and the top three are checked again at the moment you ask. They're ranked by how well the endpoint's own description matches your words, then by distinct buyers of that exact endpoint in the last 30 days (Coinbase CDP catalogue), recent payments, a published input schema, and price. Paid placement never changes the order; it shows separately, labelled.
